Step 1:
First, bring 2 1/2 cups water to a boil, add 1 cup elbow macaroni (& 1 tbsp salt, optional), and return to a boil again. Meanwhile, brown hamburder meat on medium-high heat in skillet. Once done, drain grease from hamburger meat, if any, and drain water from macaroni.
Step 3: Next, cook goulash on high for 5 minutesstirring occasionally, then turn down to medium-low heat and let ingredients simmer for about 15-20 minutes, continuing to stir as needed.
Step 4: Remove from heat, and add salt to taste if desired. You know have tasty goulash that is ready to serve!
